Made With Tangent Plastic Lumber
Choosing a line of playground equipment is a big decision for a community or organization. It represents a significant investment and it requires the assurance that it will be safe and sound for our children. Vibrant colors, smooth surfaces, unique shapes, longevity and low maintenance are all characteristics that your customers demand.

Tangent Technologies can help. We offer a full line of plastic lumber and structural plastic lumber to meet your needs. Our extruded shapes can be manufactured to your exacting requirements for size, color, rigidity and surface finish. They are made from a blend of recycled post-consumer plastics– materials that have the highest environment rating by the Healthy Building Network. So you and your customers can feel good about doing your part to keep plastics out of landfills. And they are perfectly suited to the rigors of slipping and sliding on outdoor playgrounds – with colors that won’t fade, materials that are impenetrable to moisture and insects and a tough composition that will hold up to heavy use for years without maintenance. Our product carries a limited warranty guaranteeing your end-products will look great for decades.

Tangent can support your needs regardless of the shape or size of material. We have hundreds of standard shapes in-house, or we can design a custom shape to meet your needs. When shape and machining characteristics are more important than rigidity, your products can be made from our PolyTuf™ line of material. Choose from a wide range of standard colors and surface characteristics– or spec your own. If your application requires more rigidity – but is not a true structural application, we can manufacture your requirement with our line of PolyTuf Plus™ profiles. These are ideal for deck or dock surfaces. For true structural applications, we offer our PolyForce™ line of structural plastic lumber with fiber additives to achieve the rigidity and toughness you need.
