What Kind of Material Characteristics Do You Need?
One of the advantages of working with Tangent Technologies is our ability to adjust the characteristics of the base material to best suit your application.
We use proprietary techniques that include foaming the resins, adding fiber blends to the material and even co-extruding an exterior cladding so that the overall material characteristics can range from highly durable and resilient to stiffness suitable for structural applications. These blends also include UV- stabilized color pigments that are blended and consistent throughout the extrusion. The ultra violet inhibitors and anti-oxidants within our materials will protect your end-products through decades of heavy use and weather exposure.
Our most popular product is designed for maximum resiliency and machining capabilities. PolyTuf™ is ideal for applications where a superior surface finish and uniform cell structure throughout the material are most important. For enhanced stiffness, PolyTuf Plus™ has added fiber strengtheners depending on your material requirements. Both materials have a 50 year limited product warranty and are outstanding in harsh weather and heavy use conditions.
Our newest material was specifically designed for marine environments where structural strength is also a requirement. High fiber content gives PolyForce its extra strength and stiffness and is ideal for docks and structures exposed to high moisture, salt and sand.
For materials that require extra stiffness and a superior external finish, we can offer CladCore co-extruded solutions. This technique gives the extrusion the best of both worlds - extra strength and stiffness inside while maintaining the best possible surface finish. |
